Somatic IFS Therapy in Seattle & Washington State
A space to come home to yourself.
Hannah Martin, LMHC
Whether you are feeling burnt out and exhausted, struggling to make decisions that feel right for you, or feeling ready to dive into self-exploration, this is a nonjudgemental place for you.
Maybe you feel like you’re doing all the “right” things, but still feel unfulfilled.
Maybe you care more about making others happy than yourself.
Maybe you feel overwhelmed by anxiety and stress in your daily life, like things feel bigger than they are.
We can all feel stuck in our routine or old patterns, unsure of why we react to others the way we do, or why we keep doing things that don’t help us anymore.
I offer a space where you can connect with your mind and body, and tap into the inner wisdom, creativity, and healing you’ve always had within you.
Hi, I’m Hannah.
I’m here because I believe in the transformation of paying attention to our inner world as a means for external change.
My belief is that you already have all that you need to move through this world with authenticity. But, sometimes we lose touch with who we truly are. We may feel disconnected from our choices or like we have to play it safe.
Many forms of therapy can feel like just another box to check on the endless list of self-care tasks we’re told we should do to cope with an overwhelming world. My approach is different. Our focus is on the core root of your struggle rather than coping skills. This will help you shift from focusing on the outer world and all of its demands towards listening to and prioritizing the wisdom of your inner world. This isn’t about fixing you, but learning to believe and rest in the truth that you are enough, just as you are.
For many reasons, it’s likely that it hasn’t felt safe enough for you to access to your inner wisdom. Our work is centered on helping you feel safe enough to trust and listen to yourself. Schedule a free consultation.
Therapy with curiosity, compassion, and wholeness at its heart.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches healing with the belief that we are made up of many “parts” that express themselves in emotion, physical sensation in the body, thoughts, or patterns of behavior. When we are out of connection with these parts of us, it can often feel like we are reacting to the world in ways that may actually go against our true needs and desires.
By getting in touch with these parts of us we can resolve inner conflicts, heal emotional injuries from the past, find relief and clarity, and experience greater emotional freedom. I use somatic techniques to help you deepen your relationship to different parts of you.

While not always directly linked, many people with anxiety feel a strong pressure to keep others happy, often at the cost of their own well-being. This can create a cycle where you're constantly focused on others’ needs, leading to more stress and less time for yourself.
Many people with anxiety also experience perfectionistic tendencies. It can be difficult to let go of control and feel vulnerable. I help clients move from needing to get it right all the time to experiencing a greater sense of freedom.
Whether your anxiety connects to people-pleasing or perfectionism or something else, I will guide you in your journey to find more peace.
