Hannah Martin, LMHC
Are you feeling overwhelmed by stress or anxiety, or trying to meet everyone’s expectations? This is a safe and supportive space where you can find relief and reconnect with yourself.
You're exhausted by the effects of stress and anxiety in your personal or work life. You are looking to others to make decisions for you. You feel like you would let others down if you make the wrong decision.
Life can feel overwhelming, and it’s easy to stay stuck in patterns that keep you from thriving. But it doesn’t have to be this way. I’ll work with you to understand the roots of your anxiety, stress, or people-pleasing habits, and help you create lasting change so you can find peace, balance, and the ability to prioritize yourself.
What would life look like if you felt more at ease in your body, more confident in your decisions, and less stressed by the little things?
What would life look like if you felt more at ease in your body, more confident in your decisions, and less stressed by the little things?
It’s easy to get stuck in cycles of stress, trying to balance never-ending to-do lists, obligations to others, and self-care (which is often at the bottom of the list!). Whether this is a newer pattern for you, or something that’s been around for years, it can feel overwhelming. .
You might even feel like keeping your anxiety close is the only way to stay productive, or like you need to hide your stress because you don’t want others to see how insecure you feel at times.
You are not alone. The pressure you’re feeling is real and it’s having an impact on both your life and your body. This is why we will move slowly to understand the roots of your anxiety and people-pleasing tendencies.
This process honors the good intentions behind your anxiety and people-pleasing. We will better understand what you need to feel more ease and confidence in yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
While not always directly linked, many people with anxiety feel a strong pressure to keep others happy, often at the cost of their own well-being. This can create a cycle where you're constantly focused on others’ needs, leading to more stress and less time for yourself.
-
Stress and anxiety are different, but they often feel similar in your body. Maybe a sudden email or text makes your heart race and your mind spiral, even if you’re not feeling anxious all the time. When stress like this happens frequently, it can build up and trigger anxiety, creating a cycle that feels overwhelming and out of control. Over time, stress can become a source of anxiety, making it harder to find peace.
